Here at Brislin Chihuahuas we DO offer shipping to most parts of the United States.   I have personally used both these airlines and feel confident that they take the very best care of our little guys to make it as stress free as possible departing and arriving.
 
I still feel strongly on personally "hand picking" up your pet at my home, however I do understand in some circumstances that flying may be the better option.  I will NOT fly any dog that is to teeny.  These puppies/dogs are extremely delicate and must be picked up in person at my home. 
 
Shipping for both Continental and Delta are different in pricing and change often.

TEACUP CHIHUAHUAS
The truth on the teacup chihuahuas
 
FACT:  there is no such thing as A TEACUP CHIHUAHUAS.
 
We do not sell, promote, or use the teacup term when placing puppies or dogs as pets. A Chihuahua is a Chihuahua, the smallest in the AKC breed.  
 For that matter there is no such things as micros OR MINIES either.  If you like a teacup Chihuahua you may as well buy any Chihuahua puppy, whip out your fine china and stick your puppy in it..."Voila"  You just got yourself your very own  teacup Chihuahua!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
FACT: All Chihuahua puppies are small.
THE AKC Size Standard for Chihuahuas is 2 to 6 lbs. However in some cases genetically speaking a Chihuahua may be smaller than two pounds or larger than 6 lbs.  Does this mean it's not pure bred???.......... NO......This simply means a dog under two pounds or over 6 pounds CAN NOT be shown in the show ring. 
 
When you think ABOUT it, A Chihuahua over 6 pounds is still a very small dog. A 6 pound Chihuahua is better suited in a home with smaller children. There is certainly always that risk of having a Chihuahua stepped on or fallen on. So please think carefully before taking a Chihuahua into your home
 
Know with all this being said, Yes,  we may have a three pound Chihuahua available at times to pet homes, however those homes will be carefully screened before leaving my home and going to yours.  Our babies here are like our own human children I am very protective where I place them!
 

Why give your dog routine vaccinations?

 

 

Unless properly vaccinated, your dog is at risk of contracting one of several, possibly fatal, infectious diseases. Most common infectious diseases can be prevented by routine vaccination. We vaccinate our pets for the most important & common of these diseases in order to protect them. In fact, vaccines are usually effective in more than 95% of pets vaccinated. Additionally, routinely vaccinating your pet is often cheaper than paying for treating your sick pet later, and reduces virus transmission in the pet population.

Puppy Vaccination Schedule
Recommended schedule for dog vaccinations
 
Possible vaccination schedule for the "average" dog is shown below.

 

Age Vaccination
5 weeks Parvovirus: For puppies at high risk. Check with your veterinarian.
6 & 9
weeks		 Combination vaccine* without leptospirosis.
Coronavirus: where coronavirus is a concern.
12 weeks
or older		 Rabies: Given by your local veterinarian (age at vaccination may vary according to local law).
12 & 15
weeks**		 Combination vaccine*
Leptospirosis: include leptospirosis in the combination vaccine where leptospirosis is a concern, or if traveling to an area where it occurs.
Coronavirus: where coronavirus is a concern.
Lyme: where Lyme disease is a concern or if traveling to an area where it occurs.
Adult Combination vaccine*
Leptospirosis: include leptospirosis in the combination vaccine where leptospirosis is a concern, or if traveling to an area where it occurs.
Coronavirus: where coronavirus is a concern.
Lyme: where Lyme disease is a concern or if traveling to an area where it occurs.
Rabies: Given by your local veterinarian (time interval between vaccinations may vary according to local law).
Recommendations vary depending on the age, breed, and health status of the dog, the potential of the dog to be exposed to the disease, the type of vaccine, whether the dog is used for breeding, and the geographical area where the dog lives or may visit.
*A combination vaccine, often called a 5-way vaccine, usually includes adenovirus cough and hepatitis, canine distemper, parainfluenza, and parvovirus. Some combination vaccines may also include leptospirosis (7-way vaccines) and/or coronavirus. The inclusion of either canine adenovirus-1 or adenovirus-2 in a vaccine will protect against both adenovirus cough and hepatitis; adenovirus-2 is highly preferred.
**Some puppies may need additional vaccinations against parvovirus after 15 weeks of age. Consult with your local veterinarian.
Bordetella and parainfluenza: For complete canine cough protection, we recommend Intra-Trac III ADT. For dogs that are shown, in field trials, or are boarded, we recommend vaccination every six to twelve months with Intra-Trac III ADT.

I strongly recommend you keep you puppy or adult dog on this food.  It is not expensive and you get QUALITY, QUALITY, QUALITY.
 
Puppies can be weaned off of this food to a food of your choice but it MUST be done gradually or your will upset the tiny bellies of this Toy Breed.

Hypoglycemia

 
Hypoglycemia, or low blood sugar, is a health problem that effects many toy breeds or puppies between 5 and 16 weeks of age, especially extremely tiny or teacups and all owners must be on the lookout for it.
 
Hypoglycemia is recognized by a healthy puppy becoming weak, listless, depressed, or unaware of its surroundings, and even unable to stand or walk.  Advanced states include seizures before lapsing into a coma, which is sometimes followed by death.

High Calorie Palatable Dietary Supplement for puppies & Dogs

Indications
Increase resistance to stress (such as travel, temperature extremes, weaning, worming)
Increases resistance to low blood sugar
 Nutradrops can be given in the puppies water ( if the puppies is crashing
and is down, 3cc's 3x or 4x a day) if healthy and you want to prevent
hypoglycemia you can put 4 tbs. in their water. the water will be pink)
Product is also good for a bitch in whelp.  I personally give my bitch a half a teaspoon when she is starting labor and then every half hour from the onset of her pushing to deliver.
